Bio

I have made a career out of defying the odds, turning around two agencies no one thought was possible, Grey and FCB New York, making both financially, culturally and creatively amongst the best places to work in the industry.

At Grey New York, I played an integral role in the agency’s epic turnaround by turning the Canon, Volvo and DIRECTV accounts into some of the most famous, innovative advertisers on the planet, crushing KPI’s and sales records while winning an Emmy and shortlisting at the Oscars in the process. I also won a few pitches along the way, including Ally Bank and Gillette, two of the biggest in Grey New York’s history. Ultimately leading to Grey, itself, earning agency of the year in 2013 and again in 2015.

Then, in the Spring of 2016 I took on the challenge of turning around FCB New York as their new CCO, and in only a couple years we managed to make Ad Age’s Best Places to Work. We had more growth in 2019 than in over a decade prior. We made Ad Age’s Agency A List, our work for Burger King hit every Top Ten List for 2018, and I was named as one of Adweek's Creative 100 and Campaign’s Digital 40 Over 40. But the cherry on top was at Cannes when we won three Grand Prix, including the coveted Titanium, the first in FCB’s global 127-year history (Photograph above. I’m the one wearing the blue sport coat, Burger King T-shirt and an effusive grin).

Then, in April of 2020, and true to form, I challenged the odds once again by starting my own creative company amidst the pandemic. Inside of the first six months, my company turned a profit and began growing faster than I could’ve ever imagined with amazing clients like Pepsi & R/GA. In fact, they were such amazing clients that when R/GA asked me to join them full-time, I leapt at the chance, because I loved the culture and it just felt right. And so as of July, 2021, I became a Global ECD, as well as R/GA’s Global Head of Creative Excellence, leading them to back-to-back record breaking years, as Agency of the Year at The Webby’s and #2 on the Ad Age A List. Not to mention helping them to back-to-back Grand Prix wins at Cannes in 2021 and 2022 for Reddit & Nike respectively.
